Gold 18 ct Gold Layered Jewellery

Gold Layered is .925 sterling silver or brass base jewellery layered with gold and filled with gold. The standard plating is 2 millionths of an inch of gold over the base metal, as compared to gold layered 75 millionths of an inch over sterling silver or brass. The result is long life gold jewellery with the same shine and richness of solid gold that won`t wear,chip fade or tarnish, this layering of gold is not the same as gold plated which can chip and wear.
